Remarks
The college had a huge impact on how my life shaped up in the last few years and I will forever be indebted to them to give me such a comfortable environment for growth. I have been a successful person due to the support of my college among other things.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of food technology had 8 semesters which means it was a four-year duration course. In those, three years were dedicated to learning the course work and one year was scheduled for training. The students had to achieve the credit marks to be enrolled in the next semester.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University was a very successfully active one and I got my first job with the help of the college itself. They prepared us for the interviews so that we can crack it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There was a lot of internal details when it came to the fee structure which was provided by the college. However, in an overall view the fee for the first semester was rs. 55575. The even semesters such as the 2nd, 4th and 6th had the same fee of Rs. 50650. The odd semesters which are the 3rd, 5th and 7th had a fee of Rs. 51000. The extra curricular events that were arranged by the college was on a massive scale and we were always excited whenever we hear of any upcoming event in the college. Even us students were given responsibilities to make the events successful.
Admission
The application for each course have to be done on their official site along with paying the application fee and all the documents asked for. For my course of food technology my 10+2 marks of biology and physic chemistry was calculated. If the marks was according to their given cut off percentage then the applicant would be scheduled for counselling.
Faculty
The faculties had struct guidelines about what they expected from their students and we had to make sure that we do our best not to disappoint them. We had huge respect for our faculties and always wanted to make them proud.
