Course Curriculum Overview
The MBA is a two year course in finance and marketing which breaks down and builds a great foundation for both the theoretical and practical knowledge which further helps the students in understanding the core concepts such as investment management, securities & portfolio management, local and global companies, indirect tax, mergers & acquisitions, insurance and corporate risk. The students learns about how to forecast the economic trends in the industry and analysis the company reports so as to minimize any risk and maximize the stock value.
Placement Experience
Top recruiters that visit our college every year are Boston consulting group, Accenture, HSBC, JP Morgan, American Express, Amazon, ICICI Bank, Airtel, HUL etc. The domestic salary which was offered was 14 lpa and the average was 6 lpa. Internships were also offered in certain banking companies like Yes bank, Axis bank, TCS, Kotak, Citibank etc. The minimum stipend that were given to students was 15,000 per month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fees for one semester is 4750 and the other fees that include amounts to 26,300.The total for one year is 62,100 after considering all the necessary charges.The hostel & mess fees need to paid separately.
Fees and Financial Aid
Freedom fighters scholarship is given to children or grand children of the freedom fighters if they produce a relevant certificate from the Tamil Nadu government. The defense personnel students who have secured 50% marks in the annual examination in previous examination are given exemption from the college fees and full fee concession.The backward classes are given some fee concession if their parents income does not exceed beyond 2 lpa.
Campus Life
The college encourage the students in the participation of sports among the students like billiard, cricket, snookers, football, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis etc. The college also organises the cultural fest which is managed by the student council & committee to improve more participation and management skills. Workshops such as risk management, how to increase the profit target of a company, investment banking etc are held from time to time so that the students get more knowledge about the subject.
Admission
The student seeking admission needs to be a graduate with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Other exams such as MAT/CAT/CMAT/ATMA and TAN CET is also accepted. The admission is made on the basis of merit by the college. 31% seats are reserved for the open competition. 30% is also reserved for the OBC in which 3.5% is for Muslims. 1% and 18% reservation for the SC and ST respectively.
Faculty
The teachers of the college are appointed on the basis of their knowledge and experience.All of the management teachers posses a good command over their respective subjects. They always help the students when they are facing any issues and encourage them to achieve bigger goals in their life.
