Standard Fireworks Rajaratnam College for Women was founded in 1968. The college offers regular and self-financed courses like BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc at the undergraduate level and MA, M.Sc, and M.Com at the postgraduate level. Also, it offers various Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate courses.
Admissions in the given courses are done on a merit basis. Admission of both UG and PG programs are carried out online. Candidates for UG courses can register online and apply after the declaration of the twelfth standard results and PG courses may apply to the mark Statements of five semesters.

SFR College for Women Course
The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs (both regular and self-financed) across Arts, Commerce, and Science streams in various specializations. SFR College also offers various PG Diploma and certification courses in various specializations. Admission both the UG and PG program is conducted online by the college itself.
Seats are reserved as per Tamil Nadu Govt. Reservation Policy-

- 6 seats in UG and 2 seats in PG for children of Ex-Servicemen of Tamil Nadu origin.

SFR College Admissions
The admission to the college is based on merit and admission form can be filled online.
For UG Courses candidates can register ONLINE and apply after the declaration of XIIth Standard Results. For PG Courses candidates can apply with the Mark Statements of Five Semesters.
How to apply?
- The candidate has to fill the application form only in online mode at the official college website.
- Candidates can go for basic registration by clicking New registration, select course, and enter relevant details. Log-in using the credentials generated.
- Upload scanned copy of photograph in JPG/JPEG format of 50KB size and scanned copies of marksheets and certificates of 200 KB.
- Fill the required personal and academic details.
- Selected candidates will be notified by the college. Selected candidates will have to pay the application fees to lock their seats which are non refundable.
- Admission is subjected to verification of Degree by the Director of Govt. Examinations.
- The original certificates have to be submitted to the college and will be returned after the completion of the course.

SFR College Faculty
The faculty of the college with a focus on quality imparted training students appointed. They are well qualified and trained with great experience. There are a total of 142 faculties (72 in aided stream and 66 in Self Financing Stream) working out of which 23 are PhD holders. Each department has a Professor and Assistant Professor. Teachers have good knowledge of their respective subjects. They also encourage the students in any way possible and help them when they need it.

50%aggregate mark from a recognised board.with physics, chemistry, biology. Then application fees is 50/-.appilication form available in college website and in college office.the reservation benefits of the admission is very quic and easy.

- Eco friendly college environment. The college has full of trees and it had peacocks and the management had grown up some pets inside the college.
- Well equipped Infrastructure and library. They have numerous facilities inside the college campus.
Dislikes
- Rules and regulations: They follow some strict rules and regulations. So students in the college like us felt like they treated us like a school children. We didn't have much more freedom there.
- Career opportunities: we felt they can avail us some more career opportunities to the students. There the campus placements opportunities are low.
Admission:
We don't have any admission through the entrance exam. Whoever gained above 50% in BCom and BCom(CA) is eligible to apply for this course. The application forms are available in the college office and the application fee is 100. Application dates start from April 1 to June 15. The major reservation benefits. The process of admission is quick and easy.

- As it is a women institution there are so many rules and regulation are strictly followed.
Admission:
There was no entrance exam. Cut off system is followed. The students who scored more marks in the 12th standard will get admission in regular and who are not will get admitted in SF courses. I approached the college directly and got the admission.

I applied for B.A English in Sri kaliswari college. I got a merit sheet. That is why my fees schedule completely different. My fees for every semester were 1500. Additionally, they didn't ask for any fees. Also the way of teaching in that college was very excellent.

This course is a 2 year program which is divided into 4 semesters in which we are basically taught about the cooperate governance, information technology, risk management and supply management. It is a full time study and our curriculum is focused on 1 subject area as compared to the other professional degrees. This master degree also includes research component which later provides us an access to a doctorate degree.

Bcom computer applications is a graduation course which has the duration of 3 years. The course follows semester system and has a good course structure. The labs are well ventilated and are comfortable. The days are generally chilled but exams are very tiring.
