Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has only law subjects. For providiing legal aids to people we are taken outside the college in backward areas. The curriculum provides brief and practical knowledge about law. The focus is on theory.
Placement Experience
The internships are good but not a lot of job opportunities are available. It is better for you to work hard so that you can practise in court, that is more beneficial and productive. In Assam, not many people are willingly pursuing law.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The yearly fees for LLB in JB Law College is only Rs 13, 000. No other chaarges like examination fees, seminar fees or any other, are added beyond this. Hence if we say that the fees is feasible, I don't think it would be supercilious.
Campus Life
The extra curricular activities like sports, games are very prevalent in the college. We get to have sufficient exposure to co-curricular activities. There is no racial or sexual or any kind of disparity or discrimination amongst people.
Admission
I opted for this college because I were graduate with B.B.A. but I did not know what to do further, so I though of pursuing law further. I am a native of Assam. The admission process requires an entrance exam followed by an interview.
Faculty
The members of the faculty are educated but they only know bookish knowledge. I fyou ask them about some loopholes of any law they require some time for background research on it. They themselves don't know it by heart.
