Remarks

It is the best college to pursue an engineering course.

Entrance Preview

NMAT, IIT JEE, AIEEE and I scored 199 out of 360 in AIEEE, I opted for MPSTME because it is the best engineering college in Mumbai and it is a deemed university.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is the best compared to various colleges in Mumbai and much different from Mumbai universitythe electives are project management.

Internships Opportunities

There were many companies and offered internships with a good stipend and with a good job profilethe stipend is very much better than that offered in other engineering colleges.

Placement Experience

There are many companies visiting the college for placements which offer good salary packages and job profile, there were companies like zycus, Accenture, ibm, tresvista with offered salary packages of 3 lpa to 3.5 lpa.

College Events

There is a technical fest called taqneeq which is lot of fun and lot of students participate in this fest also there is a cultural fest sattva which is famous and everyone is involved in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is proper as compared to the facilities and the opportunities that the college provides to the students. The college fees are a bit high than the Mumbai university colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have any idea of the any scholarship or loan facility offered by the college or those who have availed or have a good knowledge about it.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good and the enivironment is also good and there are so many extracurricular activities and sports and debates etc. Sports competitions are held frequently in a good manner.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel and mess food is one of the best offered to the students with the best quality of food and services.the taste and hygiene is maintained very much properly.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very good and there is a strong alumni network of the college who are connected with the college in many ways the seniors are very helpful and guide the juniors properly.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very good for proper learning and thus every student is required to study the exams are frequent in a semester and the students have to work hard.

Placement Experience:

The college provide placement drives for students, from 6th semester student get eligible for the placement drive if they have cleared all backlogs if any. There visited so many companies like Reliance ke locks and many which provides many placement drives and takes number of students and and that they take post aptitude test and like from 15 students the 10 are selected in the aptitude test and then there is an interview round in which out of 10 only two or three are selected as the Reliance come when the Reliance company came to the college for the placement right did took aptitude test for the chemical branch and as well as for the mechanical branch and that will talk almost 80 students for the aptitude test and which from the chemical branch only 40 students appearing for the aptitude test in the Reliance company in which only 15 students where selected for the second round that is for the interview round and that only 10 students where selected for the final with 10 students where finally selected to get the placement in the Reliance company is the one of the most renowned company for the placement. Likewise there in the college many companies visited for the chemical as well as for the many other branches that is from like we got many startup companies like Lakshmi Organics Laxmi Chemicals and many startup companies with gives placements to the freshers which get passed from their chemical the engineering degrees who have completed without any backlogs and have cleared all the semesters., the students get placement after all the basis of their project the interviews are held and they ask in that the project related questions the curriculum related questions and some behavioural questions. Are chemical branch are bad way in that almost there were 150 students in all that only 58 students where selected in the placement drives held at the placement but all the other should have to try outside the college for the placement som of them have to go abroad.

Placement Experience:

From 4th Semester , Students are placement Ready.They get internships and other opportunities upon the placement.The criteria is same as every college has Get all Backlogs cleared while passing the course and getting Graduated. No. of companies offer vary every Year - Capegemini , Mahindra Tata and other companies like Bajaj , infosys are the major placement companies. There are More which is not stated here as it varies every year.Highest Package is around 13-14 Lakhs Per Annum and the Average Package is around 3-4 Lakhs Per Annum. High number of packages are available. Placement Drives are also available for students (but you should clear everything first for all SEM's. Most common percentile or C.G.P.A is 9.7 or 9.8 (highest). My plans are clear to get focused to Job Security apply for Govt or PSU sectors.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

The NMAT test can be taken up to three times each year, with the best of the three results counting. Any bachelor or above Pharma/Biotech graduate with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for the program provided they clear the cut off of the NMAT examination. The course required a three- or four-year bachelor's degree to be eligible. The NMAT and NMIMS application forms were available on their official website. There were no specific incentives for reservations, and work-ex was not required, however, it did add value to personal interviews.
