Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure witha focus on research was good. Vivekananda College is famous for its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It provide more than 5 UG courses. Students of any stream may it be of arts,science or commerce will find good opportunities there. The exams and labs was not very frequent leaving us with a hectic day or with a chilled day as it depends on students how much they are prepared.
Placement Experience
The placement Committee is a duly constituted committee of the Staff Council with a vision to impart necessary career guidance, training and skill-sets to students so that they are able to find the right job. There are an increasing number of students each year which are successfully getting placed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is quite feasible and not so expensive college also provide scholarship for students. Also college have some Scholarships for the students who faces financial problems. My fees for b.com was around Rs.12000/year. And for other PG courses also the fees is not to high.
Campus Life
This college encourages all the students to actively participate in sports events. This college has facilities for Athletics, Volleyball, Football etc. Sports Day is annually conducted and the students are encouraged to participate in various inter college events.This college gives equal importance to academics and extracurricular activities.They have a students union that conducts activities on a regular basis.it creats educational environment for young women.
Admission
Admission is conducted online through the official website of Delhi University. Admission to all UG, PG and certificate programmes is done on merit basis. I chose b.com over any other UG courses available becouse i was a commerce student in my school and i found b.com as a best course to pursue further in the field of commerce.
Faculty
I think vivekananda college has got the best teachers. They take actions to encourage you towards your studies and also to participate in co- curricular activities. They are qualified enought to teach their students all the knowledge they have. Teachers available there are always to ready to help you with any problem students are having in their respective subjects.
