Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very systematic and we'll designed. The college has done away with the unnecessary courses and subjects that don't involve core topics of the degree, thus making students more productive after their 4 years of college.

Placement Experience

The best package we had this year was 22 lakhs offered to 3 students from GOJEK an international company who again offered 35000/ month in a 2 month internship to 4 people from 3rd year. Then many such companies having stipend above 7-8 lakhs were allowed to enter too like LNT,TCS etc. Yes College offers internship not to be done in the College itself but in other well established IITs/NITs/IIITs where the stipend is based on your knowledge and learning or completion of their projects.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is approximately around 2. 5 lakhs for an year considering it is a IIIT based on the PPP model, good IT institutes generally charge high fees considering the services they provide along with the exposure and amazing placements.

Campus Life

The labs provide unlimited wifI and LAN with high speed, we have a massive playground and sports equipment for everyday play. A football turf is also present inside the campus. We hold our annual sports fest that holds variety of sports events on a large scale.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are well maintained. The hostel building is having construction and maintenance in order to accommodate more people and provide new facilities. We have 3 seater rooms with attached washrooms, washing machines on each floor, badminton court, table tennis.

Admission

Admissions into the B.Tech programme is on the basis of JEE Main score which is further followed by JOSAA counselling, while the admission for Ph.D program is based on the entrance test conducted by the institute, the process is further followed by interview.

The faculty here is well versed in their knowledge of the topic, they come from prestigious institutes both national and international and hold Phds. Even though they sometimes fail to render their thoughts properly but I can assure you that their knowledge praiseworthy

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

Placement oppertunities are often given during 4th year of our course. Average package is around 3Lakhs per year. Students getting placements are often high but most of the reject the offer for higher studies inorder to get a higher package.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

The college has a very attractive campus and it is very new so the facilities are also relatively new. no placements but good to explore your interests
