Remarks

I choose to attend this college because this college is near my residence and I hear from some seniors about a good aspect of this college. The admission process is also very easy and I got admitted in Aug 2018. I directly fill the form and came in the merit list and I got admitted.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

There are many courses present at this college. But I choose to do a Bachelor of Science. As I have a special attachment from my childhood with science and I love this subject so much so I decided to explore this field more and more. In our course, there are more than 300 students in our college. After 1st Internal I understand that it is not that easy to pass as we have to do the study with lots of concentration and hard work. And the teaching method in our college is one thing I don't like that much as some of the teachers use only Bengali language to explain the chapters which are not easy to understand for many non-bengali students. But some teachers use both English and Hindi language also. But the exams always occur at the same time and it a quite tough to pass all these exams.

Placement Experience

4.5

As I haven't much idea about the campus because I just completed my 1st year in this pandemic situation going on so I am not able to gather that much information about the campus or placement happen in our college. My plan is to go into the pharmacy field after I complete my education and get my degree from college. And also I m trying to clear the SSC examination to get a government job as soon as possible. Because I want to help my father to maintain the situation of our family.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is so affordable for middle-class students also. As we have to pay for one semester at one time also. In 1st semester I have to pay only 3000 at all. I have not got any scholarship as I don't know much about this so I can't fill the form. And my financial situation not that good that I can spend as much I want. Still, my study is going as I am in 2nd year so till now no campus for job happened in our college.

Campus Life

4.5

There are fest happened in our college including a freshers party which quite memorable for me and also there are many more fests that happened in our college in the month of November, March, and also in Teacher's Day, and Children's Day. The library is so good at our college as we can get as so many books from there and we can study there or we can take for some time also by issuing the library card. Annual sports are also organized in our college and also our college wins so many trophies in many sports. There are student unions going in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

I currently in 2nd year, so I don't have much idea about placements that college offers. But have a brief idea on the besis of the seniors. My collage provides internships, and the average package is also good. From the sixth semester one can become eligible for internships. My plan is to study further, Msc and PhD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
