My MBA and college life!

As it was a period of lockdown in 2020 I applied in colleges like Siliguri college of commerce , Salesian college siliguri, Goenka college kolkata and St joseph's college darjeeling which was my college. Unfortunately I could not make it to Goenka College of commerce Kolkata , But I did made it to salesian College Siliguri and Siliguri College of Commerce but Salesian college fees was way too high and Siliguri College of Commerce had very negative reviews as nothing was good there. Then I researched about St Joseph's College Darjeeling it had the best reputation in entire North Bengal and the fees was quite affordable Faculties were good and Infrastructure was also fine so I choose this college . I would have gone to other colleges if lockdown was not there....Read More

This is a government institution and hence my fees is also very less. And we are provided with other facilities without any extra fees . Teacher are well experienced and laboratory facilities are very good reasearch work is also given...Read More

I apply for other colleges also as I didn't get much facilities there like comprehensive studying library, canteens facilities, etc. I don't get rejection from the other colleges that I have applied the reasons behind not choosing those is the facilities that I didn't found . The admission process was online; we needed to fill out our details through portals, and there was a specific verification date when we called regarding the verification of our application. After that, if everything was okay, then our admission was confirmed. Then, after a few months, standalone admission was introduced in my college, which helped many students get their pending admission. First and foremost reason is , I didn't have generational wealth so that I can pursue my higher education to private colleges, Talking about admission process we have to pay 7000/- and submit the documents, we are not even called for physical verification most of the students miss this and I think it's a failure from college side...Read More
