Remarks

My college is considered best in terms of curricular activities as there are a number of societies that can contribute to one's skill enhancement. I have chosen this college because of it's placement cell as it has EY, KPMG, and many other reputed firms in its the list.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is considered the best for Geography Hons. students but I have applied for b.com prog. Because commerce faculty has shown better growth than the previous years.

Course Fees: INR 7500 per year

Placement Experience

Very good placement cells, students must clear the procedures of GD, INTERVIEWS, and having any additional certificate if any is beneficial for impressing the placement faculty.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fees paid by me I. The first year was 7400 but I have heard that the max. Fees do not exceed up to 10k-12k.

Campus Life

There are various societies depending upon the student's skill and talent. Example: For Music lovers, there is MALHAAR society for PHOTOGRAPHERS there is REFLECTION society and many more.

My colleague life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was to the point. Everything was explained nicely in books provided to us and faculty, teachers were very good. They were passionate about their job . I personally had no problems with timings or frequency of exams. I can't comment on areas of improvement either.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in the course so i chosed this course. The curriculum preparation for the real world application is ok . I don't think so there is need for improvement in anything related to curriculum. The timing for my exams is in the morning 10 am . The timing is different for every exam .

Delhi University -A boon or a bane

Placement Experience:

Most of the DU colleges don't have a great placement opportunity but the DU tag itself helps one to get good placement.most of thd placement happens in north campus colleges. 20-30% of students gets placed.

LIFE AT LADY SHREE RAM COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is good overall as it provides us with many opportunities. Many companies have visited in the past, and many students have been placed in higher companies. This year, one student got a 48 lac pa placement offer, which was one of the highest in the whole of Du University. The highest was 48lac, and the average are 7 to 10 lac. My plans after completing this degree are to start my own business or pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I studied commerce I wanted to pursue either bcom hons or bcom program. I would say it's 6/10 in terms of real world applications of the curriculum. More practical knowledge should be given. I would say exam were hard but timing was okay.

Really good infrastructure, Average faculty, Great social life.

I took admission in 2020 on a merit basis which is how admissions are done for most of the UG courses. The cutoff of shaheed bhagat singh for geography honors was around 90 percentage in 2020 which was higher than previous years. A large number of students apply for DU, the numbers increase every year, making DU one of the most sought after colleges in the country.
