Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is meticulously prepared for the students to study independently. They are being very elaborative and descriptive, with lots of examples in them. You could enjoy reading the courses as it is highly simplified.

Placement Experience

2.5

The major drawback of this college might be placement. I have never heard of them me calling for any placement drives. The college's main aims is to be educate with higher standard and assume that with the help of this quality education they can get placed in their own effort.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is definitely feasible foe families who are either rich or belong to low income backgrounds. The fees per year for the whole two years course duration was around 6,400 INR.The fees is affordable in my opinion.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the fee structure offered by the college, I dont think the college needs to offer scholarships or education loan facilities. It is affordable by most of the families, and will not be problem to arrange according to me.

Campus Life

4

Since I was learning the course in distance education, I don't know about the extracurricular activities that went the year across in the campus. But I have heard that the campus facilities for various sports with a big playground on campus.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities are there for students as I checked their website. There are separate hostels for both girls and boys. But I didn't choose hostel, as I was studying the course in my comfort zone from distance education.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is good. We can actually contact them through social media. I made lots of friends with the people whom had earlier studied in the college through facebook. They helped me a lot in the studies.

Admission

To get admission in Directorate of Distance Education, Dibrugarh University, initially you need to check out their official website. You need to download the education form and submit all your details and should have scored more than 50% in your graduation. After submission, if they have selected your form, will send you a detailed admission letter, along with study materials and student identity card.

Faculty

4

I had no contact with the faculty of the college, as I chose my Distance education program in this college. But yes, they will provide you timely guidance whenever queries are put forth and you have some doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choosing of this course stands on the basis to bring forth change in the society even if by a little margin. Theory alone could never prepare you for real life endeavours, therefore practical knowledge is very necessary and this college's curriculum encourages practical application well. The college premises could be improved a little and teaching methods could be improved to be more engaging and enjoyable for the students. There should be a balance between giving notes and lectures on topics of said subjects. There is ample time between exams if one studies by managing time better, the exams are moderate and question pattern is fairly understandable too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Areas for improvement: more industry collaborations, guest lectures, and hands-on projects. Some subjects feel outdated and could be updated. Teaching methods could incorporate more interactive sessions and case studies. Exams are held semester-wise, with a mix of easy and challenging questions. Difficulty level is manageable with consistent effort. Frequency is okay, but sometimes feels rushed. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more flexibility and modernization to better prepare students for the industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason behind choosing this course is my deep interest in research area as our department shows good result in research domain .The curriculum provides us some topics that are to be deeply understood like we are imagining those topics in 3-D way and that will helps us in future aspects. The thing that need to be changed in our curriculum is course pattern itself because it lacks familiarity with CSIR - NET syllabus. The exams are held in the month of June and December and the difficulty level of the exam is from moderate to hard
