Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed in a way which is not too tough for the students and they can also give enough time to their studies. The topics are not too much in detail but gives a basic idea about the subject matter. Students need not have to run to college every day. They can sit at home and study. They can easily download the syllabus online and also the syllabus is sent in the College WhatsApp group.

Placement Experience

The main vision of our college is to reach to the unreached in ever possible ways. This is also applicable in terms of placements as well. Every year companies like Wipro, Amazon, Cognizant recruit students from our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The College offers various courses and the fee structure is designed on the basis of the subject matter and also the availability of faculties. As I've opted for the.b.com course I had to pay INR4000 for 3 years which is easily affordable by most of the students.

Campus Life

The College has conducted various activities like meeting with UNICEF, National workshop on human rights, technical education for quality improvement programme, guest lecture on oil and gas development, edition of Rhapsody and many more.

Admission

The Directorate of Open and Distance Learning(DODL), Dibrugarh University was established in 2001. To get an admission in this college I had to submit my 10+2 results where I had scored above 50%in all the subjects. To apply for the application, I had to fill the for online and paid a sum of INR250.

Faculties are gems of our college. They always step forward to help students in every possible ways. They always encourage us to perform better in our studies and life as well. They are great professionals in their fields and always look forward to teach students in unique style to avoid making the subject matter boring.

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest. the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students. Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way. The exam timings are perfect along with the perspective of their difficulty level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.
