Course Curriculum Overview

We have 4-5 courses offered by our university. The exam pattern has changed over the years, we have internal marking also. We have to submit projects for different topics and we also have a group presentation. The course combines all the important topics.

Placement Experience

The placement cell takes care of all the important things required to get a good internship or job. After the completion of my course, many students are offered internships very few are offered a job. I wanted to pursue my masters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee charged is normal, we have a different fee structure. This does not include the charges of books that have to be bought additionally. The 3-year course os 12,395 for the whole graduation which isn?t much.

Campus Life

Each department has its own freshers party and convocation. College day, Seminar functions, sports functions are most famous. We are always encouraged to take part in sports events and competitions held by different colleges.

Admission

After my 12th I was very confused to decide the course for my graduation. I went through counseling and then decide to go for B.Com. the admission is purely based on the merit list. I had commerce in my 12th with maths.

The faculty teaches us the topic to the point, we have a vast course. The course is always completed on time so we get time to prepare for exams. The faculty adjusts to the type of students they get in each batch.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The cutoff is very low, and there is 200-250 seats in the commerce department. The timing of awesome or January to March and timing of even sins are July to August. And the examination will be difficult the questions are cited and moderated by University of Calcutta.
