Remarks

The college is a small college located in a locality in Kolkata. I wish the college had offered placements or internships for the students or at least train the students as it would help the students a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The structure of the curriculum is very intricate as it gives the students an understanding of whatever course that they ha be chosen. The examinations are held twice in a year which is two exams in two semesters.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements opportunities as well as the internships in the college are bad. Our college does not offer any of those to its students. If you?re into sports then you may get a chance through sports quota.

College Events

4

The students in the college like participating in ever ya such as sports and other events that come their way. The college even hosts freshers party to make the new students feel welcomed. Also other events are held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is a very minimal amount. In a year the fee comes up to only Rs.3,000. So every month you have to pay only around Rs. 250 or maybe a little more depending on what course it is and then it might vary.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not offer any scholarships or any kind of loans. The fees is only a minimum amount so there is no need of a scholarship or a loan. It is made very less so that the students can pay off their fee.

Campus Life

3

The college is highly known to participate in sports competitions. The participation in sports events is comparatively more than any other events. The college also hosts small other events for the other students.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There are no hostel facilities provided by the college. Most of the students who study here are day scholars so everyone goes home and comes back. Including me I dk uo am down trips everyday form college and back home.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students don?t really interact a lot with the other students or even the junior students. I have not heard of the alumni network and I feel like it is not a strong connection once they leave the college.

Admission

First you have to check eligibility and that is at least 60 percent in your 12th grade. You can either apply directly or online as the college accepts both modes of application. Then they put out a merit list and if you?re name is in there then you?ve got an admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college tries their best to make learning more better and fun by incorporating their own methods of teaching along with their professionalism. They make concepts more clearer when they teach.

I decided to choose this course because I have completed my bachelor's from this college. I know the facilities and I know how good they are in teaching. And last but not the least, scholarship opportunities are there so I the expenses on study is recovering from scholarship amount.

I’d rate HIT’s placement opportunities as 7.5/10 overall. It’s very good for CSE, IT, and ECE, decent for Electrical and core branches, and improving every year with more companies visiting and better preparation programs. If you’re skilled and consistent — especially in coding, communication, and aptitude — you’ll almost certainly get placed before graduatin

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months
