Remarks

I love the surroundings and the teachers of the institution. They never refuse to help you in any type of situation either it is related to study or others too. But the hostel fee of this institution is quite dissatisfied. The admission is on the basis of interview conduct by the university authority. I love the surrounding and the teaching skills of the institution.. they gave you 100 % placement offers to you. Many types of companies come here yearly.

I want to choose the course because my dream is to work in the pharmaceutical industry. All of the faculty members have a master's degree in their own department. And the teaching skills are so good. The exams are not so difficult if you study well. The difficulty to pass depends upon your hard work.

Course curriculum is quite good. It covers diverse topics from maths to engineering to drug delivery and during 3rd year there is a internship also which is mandatory for this course.There are 3 exams per semester 2 sessional and one end semester exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a science student and always been interested in medicines so this course is quite interesting and yes it's tough . The struggle is real as the class starts at 10am in the morning and lasts upto 4pm minimum which teaches us to be patient and deal with things nicely. Some subjects are quite difficult for me but the 2 sessional examination before the final examination really helps a lot in the preparation.

A Fresh Start : Navigating my first year in College

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are there but not with high ranging from 3 - 4 L . I am not familiar with the pharma companies that visited and offered placements. Highest package would be around 6 L and average is 3 - 4 L. But i am not familiar with placements in Bachelors of pharmacy in Rgu.

Assam University is a good University

Placement Experience:

The placements are okay okay. Not very good companies come to recruit students of final year. Only MBA students get a high package salary in a good company. Other departments don't get these much of placements as compared to MBA.

Life in GIPS

Placement Experience:

In the 8th semister, students will eligible for campus placement. Our college will organize campus placement. Where different companies come and if you pass the interview then you will get the job. Companys like sun pharma, Ajanta pharma will come. And they have different requirements. In starting you will get 2.5 lakhs of the package and other offers are there. In GIPS most of the students get the placement. My plan after b pharm is I will study for M pharm in GIPS.
