There were many departments and each department has its own lab. The IT department was the best since it had an AI driven robotic lab. There used to be always coding competitions and the prize money would be equally good. The management was the best.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses at st Xaviers is more research driven. We had so many research based assignments, projects and hackatons and other coding competitions. So in our exam structure we had 2 unit test 20 marks each and and a semester of 60 marks you need to get atleast 40 marks to earn credits for the course.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of our college is really good. Many top tier companies come here every year and select students.
College Events
Malhar - so Malhar is the most famous college fest in all over Asia. We have some colleges all over the country coming here and participating in malhar. So many activities like indian performing arts, western performing arts street dance coding competition and just too many to list down.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible. So for IT our fees per year would be approx 40000 a year. And there would be no additional charges after that. Yes, so incase you can’t afford the fees the college would even waive off the tuition fee but you need to be on merit for that.
Fees and Financial Aid
So in order to get a scholarship you need to be on merit and then the college would waive off your fees.
Campus Life
The gender ratio of our college is 50/50 there were equal number of boys and girls. There were many departments and each department has its own lab. Yes, the seniors and the faculty were very helpful. The faculty was simply the best at st Xavier’s. So our curriculum was research driven. Our faculty members made sure we participated in hackathons and other coding competition. Not only did we excel in academics but in other extra curricular activities as well.
Admission
Best College in Mumbai. I applied it online through the Maharashtra Portal website. Got the admission in the first Merit list. Since, I got a distinction in board exams it was easy for me to get it in the 1st list. I was always good at coding and wanted to pursue my career in coding and xaviers was simply the best the college in Mumbai.
