Remarks

Overall the college is okay. The fee structure is affordable and the rooms are also nice. Yet there are some Problems with time table as we are given gaps of 2-3 hours between two consecutive classes. The recess time is only 15 minutes which is very low. Canteen is not very well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Exam structure is theoretical. No, it is not research driven. No, the curriculum does not groom to provide industry specific on-campus placements. No, any industrial visits were not organized for the students. The exam pattern is more based on how someone can cram the subject.

Placement Experience

2

The forms for jobs or internships were out in Jan 2020. But only a few internships and jobs placement companies have come yet. There was a job and internship fair organized in our college and I secured an internship as well. But hasn't started it yet because of. COVID-19.

College Events

4

Nukkad nataks, cultural fests, annual fests, there was one indo-georgian fest organised in our college. There were no technical fests as our college has no technical course. The annual fests are the biggest fests we have. The participation level is very high in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. My program fee is almost ?9000 for this year. College accept payments digitally. There are no additional fees that had to be paid in order to secure an admission to my course. Yes, the college provide transparency in fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No,I didn't opted for any scholarship or education loan. The college provide scholarships for underprivileged children and PWD and for sports.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is good yet we don't have the ambience for studying. It is a girls college so there is no gender diversity. There are a lot of departments in our college for extra curricular activities. We were not provided with computer labs for the first two years. Instead we were given laptops for a year for feasibility. Student diversity is high. We can find students from all over India and some foreign students are there as well. Students from different religions are also in our college. No one discuss their sexual orientation openly in college if it is "non-conventional" according to the societal standards i.e. Students from the LGBTQ community do not express their feelings or orientation.

Alumni/Alumna

We never had seniors because the course was newly introduced. Hence we didn't have any guidance from our seniors.

Admission

I got admission in the college from merit list. I chose the course because of my interest in mathematics. DU is considered as one of the most prominent institutions to study hence I chose this institution. We have to fill online forms in the DU website and then wait for the cutoffs. If we clear any particular cutoff then we can go directly to the college in the given days to admit ourselves.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of our college is nice. The average age of qualification is 17 years. The number of lectures in one day is 4-5. Some teachers do their job exceptionally to get the best results out of students yet some are biased. No, the lectures do not hold any relevant industry-experience or certifications.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
