Remarks

They should focus more on imparting practical skills and knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum followed is relevant to the stream. It is majorly based on theoretical concepts. Although, Economics being a practical subject, it's education must also be on practical knowledge. The teachers are very helpful in imparting their knowledge.

Placement Experience

2

Placement is good for nothing. They are making fool of students. They never call any good company to hire students.

College Events

4

Almost every event is celebrated in college. Fest 'lehrein' is very famous in the entire University. The college also participates in Delhi University's annual fest. All the cultural meets are celebrated with full enthusiasm under the supervision of the core committee.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is very reasonable as in any college of Delhi University. At my time, it was 6000 per annum. The college accepts all the payment mediums. Security charge is there with the annual fees, rest there are no extra charges. The college definitely provides transparency in the fee breakdown.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The college is not providing any scholarship opportunities to the students. So there is no scope of average sum of the scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is definitely amazing. Since it's a girls college so gender ratio is of no point. Many extra curricular activities are followed. For example NCC, music classes etc. They even provide opportunity to get into NGO's to provide social services.

Hostel Facilities

3

No, I didn't opt for hostels. Moreover the college is not providing hostel facility. However, you can go for PG's which are readily available around the college. The average rental would be around 5000 per month as the rooms are shared amongst girls. PG's also provide meal facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful in providing notes and helping the juniors in understanding the difficult concepts. And to connect with the alumni, events are being held. For instance, alumni meet. They are also invited for cultural fests.

Admission

I wanted to pursue economics honours and my grades fell into this college's cut off list. The admission was on the basis of percentage acquired in higher secondary. The same procedure is followed as in other colleges of Delhi University. This college is specifically for girls.

Faculty

3

The faculty is a mixture I would say. A few teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable and do their best. And a few of them are just doing timepass. Since the teachers at that time were on temporary basis but they were doing very well. But permanent teachers take things for granted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many co- curriculum activities that happens in the college specially related to one's course to help students know more about the their course and the scope and possibilties they have in the particular field. The curriculum tells the student about the real world situation and make us strong to face it by telling the consequences. The only field that needs to improve is to tell more about the courses of 'bachlors of arts'.
