Remarks

The management of the college is extremely helpful. They even provide the opportunity for personal interaction with the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Here, the mode of learning is classroom with an exposure to smart class. There is also a research program included within the syllabus of Bachelors as well as Masters in order to develop their overall personality. Despite of better faculties, we also get exposure to various seminars, workshops and conferences within the college campus. Students are groomed overall from in depth knowledge in their field to perfect proficiency in public speaking. There is an arrangement for on campus placements. And placements are much higher in the departments of hotel management & tourism, optometry, engineering, computer application and health science.

Placement Experience

3

For the department of health science, some of the visited placement offers are Medica synergie hospital, Rainbow hoapital etc. The general steps followed for recruiting students are Group discussions and personal interview. There is 99% placement assistance. The institution takes special steps to prepare students by providing my CLC classes in which they are made to learn about the communication skills, public speaking and personality development.

College Events

3

Mathematical workshops, seminar on nutrition and dietetics, conference for health science students, saraswati puja celebration, republic day, independence day and many more. A huge number of Students participate in such gatherings and also as a volunteer.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since this is a private college so the fee structure is slightly expensive. The program fee for my course in 2.5 lakh. Alongwith this the students has to pay ?50,000 at the time of their registration within a particular course. However the college provides fee breakdown structure in the form of either yearly payment or semester payment whichever is preferable. The mode of fee payment is online as well as offline.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship and as such there are no scholarship programs within college campus.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio is 1:1. Extracurricular activities are available such as labs, sports, debates, speech, essay writing, etc. They were very good, providing a platform for students in order to explore their talents and abilities. There was also a national level debate competition.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes I have opted for hostel. There are only four people sharing one room facility available at he hostel. The payment for hostel needs to be done either via online or offline mode. Student have to give one time payment for 6 months. The hostel rent is ?18000 for six months. And there is separate mess facility for students which is compulsory for all hostellers. The fooding charges are ?19800 for six months. Once the student has opted for hostel they cannot leave it for one year. Only after completing one year they will be able to leave the hostel rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

Our batch was the very first batch of this college. So, we don't have any seniors in our course. However, the seniors of other courses are very cooperative and helpful.

Admission

Although it is a private college and i got admission directly by paying the fee, yet there was an entrance exam conducted after the admission in order to register students to the MAKAUT University. The name of the exam was CET(Common Entrance Test). I pursued my B.sc in psychology from The University of Calcutta. And being a psychology graduate I was extremely interested in pursuing my Masters in this course. So, i opted for NSHM KNOWLEDGE CAMPUS. It is a very renownend private college having a lot of reputation and placement facilities.

Faculty

3

There is one full time lecturer, one visiting faculty and three part time faculty. The qualification of every faculty is minimum Masters and maximum Ph.D. The faculties have a good expertise over their field and many of them hold prior teaching experiences.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.
