Brief introduction about my college

Student life in our college very good and fantastic, bad thing about college is the faculty of tje college in not upto the mark, and college management is mediocre

Most of the courses are relevant but few ate outdated, it's course are quite similar to that of the other iits, courses are generally related to industrial projects but most of the projects are done by tue students individually with the slight help of professor

Placement in our college is quite good, internship is nit upto the mark but in circuit branches and CSE it is quite good. Placement percentage is above 80 overall

There are several events being celebrated in our college. Technical fest (concetto), cultural fest (srijan), alumni meet(Basant) and various departmental fests. Concetto is celebrated in November December it get quite good participants from several colleges. Srijan is quite good and famous cultural fest it is celebrated around march end and it is three day event in this event several celebrities is being invited in the fest. Basant is alumni meet it is celebrated in first week of February, in this event alumni is invited to participate

Fee structure of all the iits is quite similar,in IITs tuition fee is 1 lakh per semester, if look overall fee per year it is around 2.6 lakh, fee payment is very transparent. All the department has same fee structure. Generally students pay fee through online banking and some people pays through sbi collect

Getting loan or scholarship is quite easy to avail scholarship candidate's parental should be under 6lakh per annum and candidate must have 7.5 or above CGPA. Getting loan in this college is cakewalk

Gender ratio and diversity is quite horrible in all the iits, in our batch gender ratio is 47/916 it isn't horrible ?? It has all the sport facilities and mediocre lab facilities, it has one robotics club one vehicle club and several debating club, drama club, all the clubs are quite good and very helpful for students for overall growth

Its has quite good alumni network because the is running since 1929 but alumni network is very in earth science branches but mediocre network in circuit branches

Getting seat in IITs is one of the most difficult thing in the world. It takes two step entrance called jee mains and advanced, to get seat in IIT candidates must clear both the entrance, around 2lakh candidates get selected out of 14 lakh candidates, and in second phase around 25k candidates get selected and around 12k students get seat in IITs

There are 16 professors in our department, average age of the professors is around 45, qualification of professor are quite good and they hold PhD degree from reputed Universities, most of professors in our department are not that much good with dealing the subject
