Remarks

Professors were good and expertise in their field. What could have worked better if more fun kind activities could have been introduced rather than studies only.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Though I was in college I never felt like I am out of my school. very disciplined. There was no way to bunk classes. Professors made the topic interesting and gave efforts to make each one of us understand it. We use to do so much classwork and even homework. I think that paid off and today I am a chartered accountant working with a reputed MNC.

Placement Experience

3

Well since I was doing CA as a side course college has no role for placement. I did my graduation from this college which was kind of foundation for me. I never looked for any job placement or so with graduation as was doing internship with one of my relatives.

College Events

3

Well as every college had its annual day we too had one. There were committees formed for different curriculum activities like drama / social awareness / debate/ sports etc. announcement made by professors, notices placed in college notice board, verbal publicity my representatives, meeting invitation etc were among few ways to encourage us to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was very feasible. They don’t provide you with very high class facilities like other colleges in town but I always liked it as it was amid nature. Fees charged was minimal without cutting a hole in anyone’s pocket and also breakup was provided. Fee payment was onetime with some yearly charges during new semester. Fee was accepted in all modes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college did have scholarship programs which I never opted for so not much aware of how they function it or the process involved.

Campus Life

3.5

The way I was and how I got to college I considered myself very lucky that I was given opportunity by my family to continue my studies so other things didn’t matter much for me in college. You have equal gender ratio. No preferences for any gender. In particular no specific religion followed or bought into college but yes based out in Kolkata slightly Bengali cultured. Very healthy politics is followed without harming others.

Alumni/Alumna

I didn’t get a chance to be part of that network due to my own priorities, but there is some alumni meet.

Admission

This was one of the reputed college in area, professors were very talented, near to my house and a good atmosphere. I completed my graduation in commerce from there I opted for it because I was doing CA and CS as my parallel courses, gave me time and good knowledge in commerce. At that time process for admission was very simple. Collect the form fill it up, submit it with all required documents, based on percentage criteria if it matches your results you are called and process is explained and your name appears on the list of selected students.

Faculty

4

We had around 7 faculties during this course. Each one of them had great experience in the respective area and also enthusiastic energy. Would say they were in age bracket of 35-50 years. They had their own way of teaching, bringing the real world in front of us. They always strived to make the topics clear to us, made us do practical work and as mentioned even homework’s were checked in class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..

Course Curriculum Overview:

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
