Remarks

I don't have any bad remarks for the college. A little bit of a problem is everywhere but that is negligible. The college management is very good. Every step taken is for the students and they provide each and every help to facilitate the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Courses are Credit-based. Each programme has different courses that consist of credits which are counted semester/yearly. Exams are conducted semester wise or yearly according to the course opted. Study centers provide all the details about the classes or exam dates. If a student has any issue they can also go to the regional center. Books are provided by the University itself so one doesn't have to purchase them separately. Exams are conducted in Exam Centres which a student opts for while filling the examination form. Exams are conducted fairly and nothing objectionable can be taken inside the examination hall. Invigilators are very soft-spoken and are always ready to help the students with their guidance.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college provides internships with many companies as soon as you complete your graduation or post-graduation. Many seminars are organized where professionals come and offer the best jobs suited to your qualifications. As of now, I haven't availed any of them but I will look forward to it after completing my graduation.

College Events

5

Many events are organized every year in the college where students perform and enjoy themselves. Academic events also take place periodically. Many certificate programs are organized throughout the year. Some of them are Yoga, Social work and martial arts, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is very feasible and is easily affordable to anyone. Fees can be paid offline through demand draft or through various online modes of transactions like Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI apps, etc. No additional charges need to be paid after the fee payment. Even the books are provided by the college itself so no one has to buy them separately. Books are posted to your postal address so there is no need to go to the college to receive them. There is complete transparency in fee- breakdown and anyone can check the prospectus as every detail is provided in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed of any education loan as the fee structure is very affordable to any student. Fees can also be paid in installments so there is no worry of taking education loans.

Campus Life

5

The campus is very big and we'll take care of its cleanliness. Classes are large enough to accommodate all the students. Lifts are provided for the students who are differently-abled. Boys and girls both are equally provided all the facilities from the college. There are Computer, Robotics, and Science labs where every student can learn irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, political or economic status.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are always ready to help whenever needed. You can take help regarding the notes or any difficulty in the subject.

Admission

I wanted to have a job while doing my Graduation. One of my relatives told me about IGNOU. Here you can opt for any course amongst hundreds according to your interest. Admissions are conducted 2 times a year. Once in July and again in January. you can choose which session you want to enroll in. You also have to choose a study center as IGNOU has many study centers in each district which are allotted according to the courses. Admission forms can be filled offline or online through their portal. Once you fill the form the confirmation letter is received within a day or two and you are in.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of this college is very professional and is always ready to help the students with any kind of issue. The teachers and other staff are very nice. They will always guide you whenever needed. They not only help our academics but also making us a good person by giving values.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy
