Remarks

The college admin is usually rude but helpful. They are arrogant but never say no yo help about anything.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I am persuading mathematics it's very helpful for the outer world but basically my course trains you more if you want to go for research in mathematics practical knowledge about the subject and its relation with the corporate world is not that sufficiently provided to us.

Placement Experience

3.5

The internships are managed by the placement call of our college. There is an annual internship fair and also an annual job fair in our college.Apart from this they also call various companies to the college at regular basis.

College Events

4.5

1.The annual fest 2.The society fest 3.Seninars on various issues by different chief guests all around the world 4.Various competitions like debate, waste material, salad making and many more 5.There are also various culture societies that participate in different college for different competitions

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fee structure.Mode of payment is always online and you have to submit the whole semester fees at once.No there are no additional fees that has to be paid for the admission.Yes the college provide transparency in the fee breakdown. Also different courses have different fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't think my college provides us for any scholarship program even it might I am not sure about it.

Campus Life

5

My college is basically only girls college so the girls ratio is obviously very high with no boys.Yes our college has a lot of diversity. Students from all our india as well as some from even outside india come to study in our college. There are a lot of extracurricular activities different sports like hockey, kabadi, cricket, volleyball etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I have stayed in hostel as well a pg. hostel rooms are very spacious and there are 2 sharing as well as 3 sharing rooms with individual beds and almirah. A study table and chairs.A common bathroom (each floor as a bathroom).Approx 10 rooms on each floor. There is a mess on ground floor and the warden lives on the 1st floor. PG's in my area are usually expensive and are not even that spacious. They are more suffocating. Some of them provide with food some of them dont. They make money at that start of the month usually they most 7000-8000 per month +electricity +some of them cost for food.

Alumni/Alumna

No our batch is the first one to get graduated from this college so we didnt had any maths alumni to contact to.

Admission

We are supposed to fill a registration form for DU the admission form usually opens by now and then we fill in all the basic details as well as our 12 Marks and the choice of courses we are preferring to then about a month later cutoff from various colleges are submitted on du website we go through these cutoffs they basically calculate best of 4 so the cutoff that matches our percentage we go to that college the very next day and apply there with our documents.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of my college specially in my department is terrific. They are very helping and cooperative always ready to help and provide us more than that is given in the books and is supposed to be in syllabus. They always motivate us to participate in college activities because that is what college life is more about learning new skills.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
