Remarks

The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus followed in our college is in strictly accordance with the West Bengal board of Technical Education( prescribed by AICTE). The faculties in my trade are super helpful and skilled. We are always encouraged in doing internships in our respective fields, and even our college arranged for industry visits and training for the students each year to provide us exposure.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

MSIT KOLKATA COLLEGE REVIEW

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
