Remarks

good placement and less fees as compared to other colleges attracts me towards cgc as there is a separate cell for placement and which is very good apart from this there are many factors like nice infrastructure good hostel location near mohali and Chandigarh etc these are the factors which attracts people toward cgc

Course Curriculum Overview

as it came under ptu so course syllabus is outdated till now as they focus more on theory related subjects being an engineer one Should be trained practically apart from this faculty is good specially tpp training department is very good.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

Around 400 companies come to our college for placement 75 - 80% students got placed by the end of degree placement department is very active and responsible as they took students placement very seriously.

College Events

there are many events in campus but the biggest event is parivartan which is very good and many Punjabi singler come technical events like many coding challenges code quost code geeks lots more help to make person technically sound.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

General Engineering College Landra: a balanced blend of academics, placements and compass life

I chose Chandigarh Engineering College Laundry over the other due to its strong placement record affordable structure and good industry connections first up I applied to Chitkara University and Lovely Professional University but found C see more cost effective with a well structured curriculum.
