Remarks

The course which I'm pursuing is not available in many universities and also this university offers a wonderful campus, hostel and sports facilities with fee cheaper than many other private universities offering the same facilities. Also the faculty is quite remarkable.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is really great and the best one could have, especially for my course. The university focuses on a multi-disciplinary aspects and we can take courses from varied fields and majors, which is the highlight of the curriculum.

Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience

No batch has passed yet from my course. There are currently 3 batches in my course, including the batch which will join us this year, in 2020. It's a new and upcoming course which the University offers.

College Events

The campus life is great. Every month some or the other event takes place. Our Annual Fest, Breeze is the biggest event our college hosts. It comprises of activities and competitions in the field of technology, sports and cultural events. It also hosts a TedX event every year along with many other varied events and programs throug out the year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university offers varied scholarship offers starting from 50% and going on till 100% for its tution fee. I availed an 80% scholarship myself. There are different brackets of scholarships available on the basis of merit.

Campus Life

It has 286 acre beautiful campus comprising of a sports Complex, many fields, lake, academic blocks, hostel and a very exquisite library among other things. It is a lush green campus with a variety of flora and fauna flourishing in its ambience

Hostel Facilities

It is compulsory to live in a hostel and is included in the annual fee paid by the students. There are 4 clusters of hostels, separate for both the genders and divided among the batches. The rooms are either twin sharing or a 4- member room.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose to do ba because i m interested in pursuing psychology as my career option. The curriculum is adapt according to my knowledge It is same that of Lucknow University and somewhat similar to delhi University with only few changes. The exam ain't very difficult to crack students can prepare 3-4 days before exam and yet ace it.

Placements in my college are really nice and the placement cell was we have to find the placements for the students studying the college they make they also make sure that the students are well equipped with the skill so that to get place in my college students are eligible from the 6th semester for the campus placements the highest packages was offered in my college was around 6 lakhs and average packages is about 2 lakh per annum and around 80% of the students get their placements rest also get jobs from where according to their personalities

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. After the BBA Degree, I am planning for the Masters Degree for better placement. |

Economics Honours at Amity University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.

I applied to many other private colleges including mit,vit,srm and all. But i found snu better than those cause of many reasons: 1) student intake : while other pvt colleges takes thousands of students per course, snu only takes around 150. 2) facilities : snu really cares about facilities and hygiene. Living of life in snu campus feels very systematic. 3) location : in north, idts theres any other college with good packages as well as facilities. For cse avg package, its 12Lpa. Which is very good compared to other colleges.
