Remarks

Shri Ramdeo baba college of engineering and management is the top private engineering college in Nagpur. I always wanted to be a part of a recognised college. Also, the campus is huge and it is located in the centre of the city unlike other engineering colleges which are situated in the outskirts. I wanted to do engineering in electronics field so i opted for that course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our College has started with a new curriculum this year itself. Now, the syllabus is much easier than the previous batches. We have practical sessions everyday. Our class of 60 students is divided into 4 batches for practicals so that all the students can gain deep knowledge from practicals. The faculty is very friendly, we have special groups on whatsapp where we can interact with our teachers personally and get our doubts cleared anytime.

We have many companies coming to our college every year.The placement percent is more than 70 % per batch. Our college also supports students who want to start up their own businesses, for this we have a TBI cell which is an office place inside the college where all the start ups by our college students are set up.

Our college organises many events every year. We have Pratishruti which is 5 day event in which we have various bands coming to the college every evening, it also involves a lot of competitions like treasure hunts, Tug of wars, sports etc. We have Technovision which is another 3 day technical event which involves quizzes, competitions, workshops. Also each branch has its own events and workshops organised every year.

Campus Life

We have good quality equipments in our labs. Also we have different buildings for each course and all the buildings have their own labs. The library is huge, air conditioned with endless books.Our college highly encourages sports. We have teams playing on National, state level. We have two canteens in our college which provide all kinds of food.

After 3rd year students are eligible to apply for on campus internships and in 4th year 6 month internship is compulsory. Talking about placements generally 3rd or 4th year students can apply for on campus placements. For companies you can the college website about companies, percentage placement, highest package, average package, median package, lowest package, etc. Also there are various options such as Mtech, MBA or abroad studies.
