BPIT` college review

College is pretty awesome and much more awesome by friend circle of good friends. Infrastructure is impressive and faculty is quite helpful.

This college is affiliated to Indraprasth University, Dwarka. To take addmission in this college one has to give entrance exam of IPU that is IPU-CET.

Usual engineering programs start with general courses in sciences and engineering, and then migrate to specialized courses for the disciplines. While these courses are indeed foundational for many engineering disciplines, they are not foundational for IT - rather they can be treated as application domains (as is evident from the fact that most sciences and engineering disciplines now heavily use IT). Based on this observation, the BTech (CSE) program at IPU starts with computing oriented courses first, and allows the possibility of doing science courses later. Besides being better suited for an IT program, it also enables the possibility of students seeing newer applications and possibilities of relating IT with these subjects.

As I am in second year, I don't have any college internship experience but some of my seniors have internship experience at companies like TCS, Infosys, CSE etc. Average stipend offered is 10000-18000 per month.

Placements and job opportunities are huge in field of Information Technology and computer science. Most of the students gets placed in both fields.

There are many events celebrated in college campus throughout the year.Annual fest of college is named as CORONA, which is celebrated in month of Feb or March with duration of 2-3 days and ends up with star night...

Fee structure can be considered feasible if comparing to fee structures of other colleges for engineering. Fee is 1,04,400 for 1 year.If someone needs more feasible fee structure he/she should look for gov. institute.

Scholarship / loan facility is offered only to those meritorious students who are unable to pay their fees.

Campus life is pretty awesome. The crowd is quite mixing and celebrate their college festival on a huge scale. Seniors dont harass their juniors anymore. All the labs are good and Air conditioned.

The college has a facility for a girls hostel which charges roughly Rs. 10,000/- per year. The hostel facilities are average. Sadly, the college doesnt provide for a boys hostel. Mess food is as usual unhygenic and less tasty. Hostlers have no alternativ

Had great time with the recent alumni's. All the seniors are very nice. All of them are quite helpful and co-operative. Seniors dont harass their juniors anymore.

Whole year is divided in two semesters.In each semester two sessionals are held followed by semester exams. Before semester exam internal and external practicals are also carried out. Passing marks are now reduced from 50 to 40 out of 100.

Most of the lecturers are post graduate and some have doctrate degree also. All faculty have a good knowledge of teaching. Most of them are friendly and helpful by nature.
