Remarks

the college seemed nice at first and the advertisement was eye catching. it has a good nice campus. the buildings looked nice and the college had a good vibe. The fees is also not that much. I just wish they had hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are so many faculty members in each department. Some faculty members are very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. They provide so much training on placements so that students don't face any difficulty in campusing. They also focus on individual problems where students lack, and they also organise training for that to remove any redundancy. They even started preparing so early to remove difficulties.

Placement Experience

The placement is just average with companies like tcs, persistent, cgi, cognizant being the regular visitors. The average package is 3 Lacs. You can't expect much from a college which is situated in the muds. CSE, IT students get placed well and the rest of them go for other exams.

College Events

The college organises so many extracurricular activities like Avenir, brainstormer, etc. But The campus is not so good. The college provides hostel, but students have to arrange all the things themselves. The college provides courses like CSE, ECE, IT, EE, civil, mechanical, biomedical and applied electronics and instrumentation. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The college also provides a library.

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . 7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

The main reason behind choosing the college over other colleges is it's electrical department's history. The electrical department has received many awards, certificates for the projects development.
