Remarks

Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology is one of the most prominent colleges in kolkata, west bengal. The fees structure is very appreciable and the placement records are high too in this college. I am glad i got chance in here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Industry standards are maintained here with a good connection with the companies as collaborated. Teachers are the pillars of our college who help in the career build-up of the students and are always ready to help students to achieve a greater good in life.

Placement Experience

Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA. The top recruiting company visited our campus for placements is Johnson & Johnson. Top roles, like a digital system, circuit and coding related roles, are offered to the students. About 60% of the students from our course got an internship in startup companies.

College Events

Fests and events are conducted at our college every year. The student participation is high too. We have open mics and many small events to enjoy the college life. These four years were the best four years of my life.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
