Remarks

This was the average/( best) college according to my number in JEE ( mains). Therefore, I took electrical (ECE) in Jamia hamdard. However, after 2-3 days, there was vaccancy in computer science department seats so I popped there. I felt very lucky enough at time.

Well, talking about facilities I could say that is above average, coming back to academics session, that's surfeit. In most conventional classrooms, we are taught to memorize material. We study information to regurgitate it on a test and forget it the following day. I thought this was learning. But this past summer, I realized I was wrong.

Placement Experience

Many multinational companies and many reputed hospitals visited our university to hire students. For a computer course, companies like HCL, Amazon and Wipro visited our university to hire students with a very good package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

I applied in jamia millia islamia and jamia hamdard University both are good in terms of infrastructure. Mt first priority was always jmi but due to strict paper pattern which they conduct for their almost all courses, I didn't get selected for their course, but then I got admission in jamia hamdard University because the process of entering this college is literally easy and simple as compared to others because they do not take any exams for any of their course which is good for almost every student. Things to know about Jamia hamdard M Pharm (Pharmaceutics)

The university follows proper admission prodecure. The admission is purely based on merit in entrance exam . For M Pharm the eligibility was gpat exam qualified candidates with atleast 50% marks in bachelor. The application forms were available at jamia hamdard website from mid march to end of july. Online and offline counseling was done and admission was based on merit in gpat. The university has reservation for muslim minority , handicapped, obc, ews and internal candidates. The cutoff was 80 percentile in gpat examination. The application admission process smooth but the process began very late due to which the semester got very delayed.
