Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is practical and industry oriented with new revision and updation. The course covers theoretical aaswell as practical learning. The practicals prepares student with real world applications. Subjects like modern pharmaceutics and cadd covers contemporary industrial practices which are essential in indistry. One thing that I would suggest is to revise the practicals and to add some innovative and new practicals in curriculum

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for placement from third semester. The companies that visited are sun pharma, arbo pharmaceuticals, minimalist, cipla, medanta hospital etc. The highest package offered last year was 12 LPA. The average package is 3.5-4.5 LPA. Around 60% of students get placed either on campus or off campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees is 110000 per semester and the fees increases after every 1-2 year. The gpat qualified candidates are given stipend by ugc which is 12400 per month. Apart from this students can join intership and get paid.

Campus Life

5

The college celebrates all indian festivals along with this college celebrates pharmacy week every year which has co curricular activities. The unversity has sports week every year that has many sports competitions to inculcate extra curricular activities in students. The university has massive play ground, basketball court, badminton court and table tennis court. The university host national and international conferences

Admission

The university follows proper admission prodecure. The admission is purely based on merit in entrance exam . For M Pharm the eligibility was gpat exam qualified candidates with atleast 50% marks in bachelor. The application forms were available at jamia hamdard website from mid march to end of july. Online and offline counseling was done and admission was based on merit in gpat. The university has reservation for muslim minority , handicapped, obc, ews and internal candidates. The cutoff was 80 percentile in gpat examination. The application admission process smooth but the process began very late due to which the semester got very delayed. Also instead of offline counseling it would be better to have online counseling

Placement Experience:

The placement company visits start from the third sem. There's a separate placement cell called PlaceCom, responsible for placement activities. They make sure all students get the opportunity. In my session companies like Xogene, Apothecaries, Minimalist, etc visited. Mostly clinical research companies offer the placement. They hire just one student per company. The average package is 5 LPA. It is not an excellent choice for placements.
