Eligibility criteria was bpharma with 55%. All information was available on official site Reservation benefits were available Admission procedures were good and smooth but very slow Course started very late Semester length should be decreased and managed

Faculty are highly qualified and helpful in terms of providing guidelines . I am able to interact with them as per the need on regular basis . Post graduate students are given the freedom to explore and take classes as well as exams on their specific time

Jamia Hamdard - A place for studious stidents.

Placement Experience:

The placement company visits start from the third sem. There's a separate placement cell called PlaceCom, responsible for placement activities. They make sure all students get the opportunity. In my session companies like Xogene, Apothecaries, Minimalist, etc visited. Mostly clinical research companies offer the placement. They hire just one student per company. The average package is 5 LPA. It is not an excellent choice for placements.

From 3rd semester, student are eligible for placements. Several companies visited like ZS associate, IQVIA, aspect ratio, etc. Average package is around 5-6 lakh for masters student. The post are usually market research and other non core related. 30-40% student gets placed some go for govt jobs and other for higher studies.

The companies that visited are sun pharma, arbo pharmaceuticals, minimalist, cipla, medanta hospital etc. The highest package offered last year was 12 LPA. The average package is 3.5-4.5 LPA. Around 60% of students get placed either on campus or off campus.

DIPSAR: An overall great experience

Placement Experience:

The placement cell consists of 5 faculty members and a few students. Every year the college invites several consultancy firms such as WNS, IQVIA, ZS, Clarivate, etc for appointing the students in the CI area. However there are also Pharmaceutical companies which appoi t students as scientists or analysts a few such companies are Dr. Reddy and Fransius Keibibi. The average package offered in 2021-2022 was 8.5 lacs per annum.

Remarks:

Positive remarks that the collg are well known in the pharmacy field & most of the highly posted personalities can be passed out from here. The Negative remark the students of new generation don't take seriously and NIRF Ranking going Down

Just go for it if you want to study pharmacy!!

Well it's a govt college and most importantly it's the oldest Pharma clg in India.... So it is my first choice...it itself is a brand... I am a lateral entry student and it is my first choice.. But except it I also applied for Guru Ghasidas in Chattisgarh...I also get a chance there but I decided for dipsar... In West Bengal.... Jadavpur and jalpaiguri is also very good option... But u need to clear an exam jelet to get an addmission there... In dipsar... Lateral entry student are taken on the marks basis...marks of diploma course For direct bpharm..it's also marks basis over 12th marks.,.....Read More
