Remarks

Near my home,popolar,good faculty, ambience is coorperative,teaching is student friendly,there js scope of lots more apart from only studies and the professors guide us beyond our academical careers and to be a good human being first

Our course was updated recently one year back,there are enough industrial exposures one needs,many practical labs to test ur theoritical data Teachers are also very friendly and guide us beyond our academics specially our dean madam

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

I dont know personally becoz i am a first year student still now. So i dont have any idea about it. But yes we have few alumnis u are supportive enouh like arijit bandhopadhyay and shaqioub who help us young engineers to prosper and our entrepreneur cell in college is also well active and arranges mamy seminars for us

College Events

The fest and freshers party are two grand events which i personally like,many college participates in it. Moreover our college hosts a technical fest too,which is well popular in our city. Our college also provides us scope to participate in entrepreuner ship workshops

Infrastructure is not so great to be honest,there are no big fields or playgrounds near my college and the wifi connection is also not so great, but library is very fine,wirh lots of varities of book and the labs are also very well-equipped

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

MSIT KOLKATA COLLEGE REVIEW

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
