I always wanted to go to a college which not only has student friendly atmosphere but also wants the students to be utterly disciplined and Gokhale is the best which looks into both of them. The HOD, professors and the Guest Lecturers, all of them, gives the students personal attention. Except those there are different clubs which helps to enhance skills of the students besides studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus has been updated by Calcutta University and redesigned as semester system. We have six semesters in total divided for six months each. The syllabus has a huge depth. We now have internal exams and tutorials which helps us in preparing well. We've a great faculty like Dr. Sarthak Roy Chowdhury and Dr. Sanchita Sen who looks into our academics and as well as all the activities.
College Events
Besides all the academics, there is a sports day which takes place at Harish Mukherjee park, an annual function which takes place at Sarala Memorial Hall which is in the campus, exhibition which is held in the college itself. Except those there are clubs like Literary club, Nature club, Art Club, etc, which throws light into their own competitions.
Campus Life
Our infrastructure consists of a small playground, library, a science building which contains all the laboratories and equipments. There is a canteen and an auditorium hall. There are four lecture theatres.
