Remarks

The name Delhi University carries with itself a lot of prestige. Apart from that, Ramanujan is a fairly new college with a good reputation for academics as opposed to what I had heard about other DU colleges which apparently didn't care a lot for classes or studies but only societies and events

Course Curriculum Overview

Honestly,it was quite the opposite of what we hear about " Government colleges" and their teachers. The faculty here is highly educated,well mannered and respectful of the students. The course is interesting and intriguing.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 13675 per year

Internships Opportunities

I opted for an internship through college but did not persue it due to personal reasons

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are plenty in number but they are not extraordinary as they are for graduate students only. I am not aware of that for PG students. I get timely notifications from the placement cell of my college about internship and job opportunities and they are quite fruitful

College Events

The societies here are great. But the college performs better on the academic front than the extra curricular areas I feel the college should divert some of the attention towards better performance of societies,groups and fests.

Campus Life

Since It is quite new,it is not fully constructed yet but the areas already done are beautifully built and well structured.The new building is well lit,airy and beautiful to look at. The science and computer labs have ample equipments in perfectly working condition. The gym and library are resourceful.

Hostel Facilities

PG- I pay 6000 monthly rent and I share my room with 4 other people. Few of it's perquisites are tv in the room,kitchen,private bathroom with geyser, microwave,refrigerator,AC,maid for cleaning and a terrace. It is very easy to find pgs and hostels in areas near the college

Hostel Fee: INR 72000 per year

Yes our college provides placements to the student and the students who are in their final semester(6 semester) are eligible for the placement. The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Hansraj college- A blessing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.

This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet. what happens at ramanujan college?
