Entrance Preview

AIEEE,I choose this college because i was getting civil engineering branch in this college and this college is very renowned for its civil placement and faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

This was 4 years courseEach year divided by two six months semesters. Each semester contains laboratory papers, theoretical papers. After each semester cgpa marks are given and after each year ygpa marks are given.

Internships Opportunities

TCS, CTS, ACCENTURE etc company recruited compuer science, IT, ECE, electrical students. Apart from that verious diploma colleges came to recruit. Stipend is not offered in our college to grad students. But in masters there are stipends from AICTE.

Placement Experience

Out of 60 students 45 was placed in renowned company. Different salary packages was offered by different company like L&T was offering 3.5 lacs per annum.

College Events

Our college is known by its tech fest called Paridhi. It happens every year with lot of excitement and competition.Every year a cultural fest happens.Apart from that cricket and football leagues are part and parcel of our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah college arranges for loan from bank its accociated with. All necessary documents, steps are arranged by college itself. There are scholarship for minority community students from WBMDFC which is well arranged by college. Actually i have availed this.

Exam Structure

Well Exams was frequent. In every semester there used to be 2 unit tests, sevral class test, mcq test specially for GATE. Quizes oftenly happens.Lab is the one of our college's main attraction. Great laboratory with huge collection of equipments. Infact our laboratory is one of the best civil engineering lab in west bengal.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
