Remarks

NSS College is a well known college for its history of producing engineers, and the culture and behaviour of the place, the main attraction of the place is the old infrastructure but its cool. Also the transportation facilities are good enough. The private buses are getting into the front of the college. So Ive chosen the college.

All are good,but the faculties are so much strict and the old Infracture can be modified though. Even though everything is fine, there can be better private transportation facilities form the college level. Teacher is awesome, giving the real practical experience for us.

Placement Experience

The is placement cell which offers the students to achieve the jobs, more scope for the electrical and civil engineers, even though the Computer science has prefferability the opportunity is more for other departments as the total percent is high for others.

College Events

There will be annual events. Named Dyuksha and there will be events, by each dept also, thus there are lot of time for gaining experience with the events and also mingling with the teachers and friends. But seniority is a thing there, if you are in higher level you can participate better.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ive availed Egrantz, a college scholarship for those who bring the students monthly rs 200 and annually a bonus of 500. Also there are different schemes for the sc/St and Muslim society. The nair society will be helpful in some of the fees operations like decreasing the amount.

Campus Life

Yes a bit old infrastructure but not that much old, lab and necessary equipments are fulfilled. All is well. The greenery of the surrounding and the different buildings for each dept makes it much more comfortable and easier to get learning experience better.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

A honest review on NSSCE Palakkad

For admission,you have to write KEAM examination amd secure a decdnt rank as this is one of the most demanded colleges in kerala.You have to appear in allotment process and join if you gets tge allotment.The admission procedure was so smooth and as per KEAM rules.
