Remarks

For me it was the fact that this college was deemed to be the best college in all of the North East and also in India. The college faculty is also good and also the benefits of staying in the hostel inside the campus. The scenic beauty in and around the campus is also one of the factors for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course syllabus is somewhat updated in my pov. So far, we haven't provided enough with industrial exposure as we're still in the theory part. The facilities are all so far good but for me the Horticulture and Nematology ( under plant pathology) faculty members are best.

Placement Experience

2

There's no placement/ internships for any agriculture students and so far I've never heard about any placements regarding the agriculture students but for Food Technology students they have enough good placements so far.

College Events

4.5

In my pov and experience, there happens to be a lots and lots of Cultural programs. Sometimes it's tiring attending those programs. All the cultural and management festivals are always on top notch, sometimes the ministers, some artists, would come as the Chief guest. The students will perform for them, be it a dance, singing, drama, etc.

Campus Life

3.5

The infrastructure of our campus is quite big enough with all the sports facilities needed during sports. Sadly theres no WiFi connection inside the classroom or in the campus but inside the hostel we have plenty of WiFi connection. About the library, we have infact two library in the same building but on different floors. The biotechnology lab is so far the best lab with enough equipments in my opinion.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I've been staying in the hostel for the past 9 months and it's compulsory to all the students to opt for hostel (atleast for UG) be it a local people. The hostel is quite good with all the needed equipments. There are 2 seater rooms, 4 seater, and also 3 seater rooms with almirahs, table, chair etc. and wifi connection in each and every room.

Remarks:

There are always pros and cons to each and every college. But it is the duty of the students to adjust to it. The excellent education and learning processes that the college provides, makes it ignore the negative side of the college. Also, the atmosphere and faculty members are great.
