Techno Main was one of the best college in west bengal and this college also has good placement record. For BCA techno main is the best college in west bengal.I opt for this college because of its placement record, it's in main city, easy transportation, living cost and friends.

Syllabus for BCA of MAKAUT University is good. Its preety much same as BTech CSe engineering syllabus. Those students who come from other states might face language problem as bengali is the comman tongue but this problem is manageable.

Placement is very good this college lots of companies come to hire here. Company starts to come from the beginning of third year and companies like microsoft and Amazon also give placement in this college.

Campus Life is good,this college has a lot of events fest infact edge which is a tech fest of techno main is one of the biggest tech fest of India. There is fest for every branch in college and there are some fest for whole college.

If you are minority you can avail scholarship which is provided by the government and also one can take part in various events and prizes, some of the prizes are huge like in edge you can win upto a lakh.

I will give 3/10 stars to Techno Main infrastructure. This college has only two main building and one ground on which you can practice sports or some other activities. Some college fests are also organised on this ground.

This college doesn't have good hostel it's best either to stay at pg or rent a flat. Most of the fresher students take a pg and after some time shift to a flat. If you want a pg you can get sharing room pg for around 6000 in which food is also accomodated.
