Course Curriculum Overview

The college has highly qualified and experienced faculties. Faculty to students ratio as per AICTE norms. Electrical Engineering Dept. has a modern and digital classroom, modern labs. The course curriculum is designed by MAKAUT as per AICTE structure. Practical design implementation is one of the important parts of the Dept. I am enjoying a lot here.

Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunity is available. College made MOUs with different reputed companies for internships. Internships made by maintaining the guideline of AICTE. As per AICTE guideline internship is now mandatory for B.Tech courses. College every time encourage all the students for internships.

Placement Experience

Final year students are eligible for placement. Lot of Reputed MNCs visited in the College. Maximum students placed in the reputed companies before the completion of the course.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Don't be a minimum guy, Choose GKCEM

It’s Greater Kolkata College of engg and mgmt. under JIS group is one of the best colleges around for students. Though my department of Mechanical Engineering is favorite for its labs, facilities, faculties and it is as good in other sections also. Certainly, our college provides adequate infrastructure and quality teaching of the faculty members here. This college is affiliated to MAKAUT University and many top companies visit the campus during placements. The senior are quite helpful to the juniors.Its an anti ragging campus.
