Remarks

Big campus, full of greenery, two playgrounds. The college looks like a college, not a school. The workshop is huge with many instruments. Laboratories are well equipped and modern instruments are there. My relative studied from this college and placed in Honeywell, a multinational company.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am fond of electrical engineering. This steam has a huge opportunity. Its applicability is manifold. The faculty-student ratio is 1:15. Faculties are well qualified and knowledgeable. Exams held on June and Dec regularly. It's not all difficult to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 374000 per year

Placement Experience

End of sixth-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Zensar, Cognizant, ACC cement, Godrej, Sasken, Mphasis and many more. Minimum 3 lakhs, maximum of 6 lakhs. Around 73 percent students got placed. I have already joined in a reputed organisation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are fixed. No change in fees during the entire course. The college encourages students to apply for scholarships. The college itself provides 25% of scholarships. Apart from that SC, ST, minority, Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarships available.

Campus Life

College Fest Name: Echo. It usually held in the month of March. In library 2000 titles are available and a total number of books are 22000. Classrooms are well equipped and airy. Football, cricket and badminton are the main sports facilities.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

Don't be a minimum guy, Choose GKCEM

It’s Greater Kolkata College of engg and mgmt. under JIS group is one of the best colleges around for students. Though my department of Mechanical Engineering is favorite for its labs, facilities, faculties and it is as good in other sections also. Certainly, our college provides adequate infrastructure and quality teaching of the faculty members here. This college is affiliated to MAKAUT University and many top companies visit the campus during placements. The senior are quite helpful to the juniors.Its an anti ragging campus.
