Entrance Preview

Kerala Commissioner for Entrance Examination (Kerala CEE) Course and college selected on the basis of CEE Rank.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was not a compulsory part of course curriculum and hence companies never came and offered internship. Even then students did internship in many near by industries for a period of 2 weeks to 1 month during semester breaks.

Placement Experience

Batch Strength was around 480 and i think more than 75 % were placed. Majority recruitment was in IT sector with companies like WIPRO, UST, L&T, IBS etc visiting the campus. Package for most of the companies were in and around 3 Lacs. Core companies which visited include Mahindra, L&T and MRF. Package varied from 3L-4L.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Studied in government seat- Fees was only 4000 per year at that time. Even now i think it wont be above 6000/year. As government is subsidizing education fees is highly affordable by anyone.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given to financially backward students under government schemes Loan facility is also available in all major banks.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network is strong especially outside India. Global alumni meets also happen which is mainly coordinated by NRI alumni. Good connection is there and seniors help out juniors in need also.

Exam Structure

University exams happen once in 6 months and 2 internal exams occur in between. Got plenty of gap between exams and exam schedule was more chilled out than hectic.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

nehru has implemented placement traninng from the start of the course itself, from first year itself we get to placement classes which made us adapt and get to know how interviews are conducted. from 4th year onwards i think students are eligible for placements and more than 75% of students gets placed every year

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
