Good management and excellent campus. Nothing to say negative.

Course Curriculum Overview :

CUSAT Syllabus is toughest one among other universities and it follows IIT Model course Structure. Exam pattern and valuation is very strict to put forward the talents of students by thier own. As we have very good faculties who placed thier names across the world top universities and engineers by thier researches and talents, we are blessed with learning practically very well. They provide us industrial visits and studies for the development of practical knowledge.

Class Size : 100

Placement Experience :

CUSAT provide good placements. Internship or industrial training is a compulsory one in our curriculum alike other universities and this also includes in our marks. Hence all students get industrial opening and training from their course time itself.

College Events :

Festivals and events are unforgettable moments in campus. We has festival celebrations like onam and holi. In a year we have college cultural fest, sports, University arts and sports, technical fest of college and technical fest of individual departments, and international conferences and workshops. As this is University our functions are big bounding all different departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

CUSAT various departments is having different fee structure according to their funding from government and other governmentdepartments and companies. School of engineering follows self financing fee structure with merit seats and payment students are selected to these according to their rank and allotment list.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I got scholarship according to entrance merit list and hence I was not in a need of education loan. Other state and central government scholarships are also available here.

Campus Life :

CUSAT campus is like a heaven. No one who once entered here will wish to go out of here. Couse completion was actually a heartbreaking for each student. Equal priorities for boys and girls. CUSAT is having a number of other state and foreign students.

Hostel Facilities :

No. I was day scholar as my home was nearby the university. But CUSAT is having very good hostel facilities. Good rooms, toilets, good mess everything is available with high security. 24hrs security guard is available. Each hostel is having a warden and they are under hostel office. Hostel fee is also reasonable.

External Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

CUSAT is having a very good alumini network and we conduct annual meeting of alumini in every year.

Admission :

I got admission here by getting in ranklist of CUSAT CAT entrance test. It was my ambition from my childhood to study civil engineering in CUSAT. I chose this institution because it is the number one University in Kerala and School of Engineering is the number one college in Kerala. First I cleared the entrance test and accordingly I got listed in allotment and I took admission in 2012 batch.

Faculty :

We have a good faculty list with excellent knowledge and teaching skills. All our proffessors and associate professors are of high qualifications and recognised ones overall world by thier researches and knowledge. Studying under them is a blessing for us.

Many students get college placement in all years. Some students get bank jobs and other construction industries and also colleges give an internship program in Taiwan for students with good cgpa and a Mark and also a stipend.

Placement Experience:

Students can avail placenta from the 7th semester where a lot of companies are available. I don't know about the highest package but all of them are pretty decent. Most of the packages are IT and sales.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

Placement for Students are provided on the final semester that is the 8th semester. Placement for mechanical engineering fluctuates based on the outside industry depending on the market. SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
