Remarks

Overall, BVCOE is one of the best college in Delhi, It provides plenty of opportunities for students, management is awesome, every work is on time. Those were some good 4 years I spent in college, made many friends, got great mentors.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum in my college is excellent. Along with the major subjects, there also some non-technical subjects which are as much as any other subject, to help us grow technically as well as professionally. Curriculum was a perfect mix of technical, managerial and ethical subjects to provide us industry-specific knowledge. Exam structure is also perfect to make sure we learn everything in our curriculum. There is 25 marks for internal assessment and 75 marks for external assessment. Subjects we learn throughout our B.tech were also helpful in placements. Specifically core companies which tests our knowledge of core subjects required in the industry. In my 2nd year, we went on a industrial visit organized by our faculty members. It was Escorts Agri Machinery, Faridabad.

Placement Experience

4

Several companies both technical and non-technical visit our campus for placements. Some of the companies are TCS, Nagarro, Airtel, ZS Associates, EY, Altran, NIIT technologies, Amazon, Adobe(for girls only), Sapient, etc. The general procedure for placement is first there is a written aptitude test then a group discussion, and 1 or 2 interviews. Our college provides several training opportunities which are helpful in the placements. Around 70-80% of the students get placed who sit for the placements. There are several programs college provides to prepare for placements. Amcat and Cocubes exams were held to prepare us for aptitude and core subjects.

College Events

5

Our college holds two fests: one is technical cum managerial fest held every year, another is cultural fest held every two years. They are of big scale as several students from other colleges also participates, and the footfall is around 2000-3000. There are several events organized in the fests by different societies in the college. Other than fests, several events throughout each semester takes place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Program fee for each year is Rs. 1,10,700, where as for first year it is Rs. 1,15,700 where Rs. 5000 are refundable security charges. College accepts NEFT, RTGS, DD for fees payment. There are no additional charges for admission. College provides complete transparent breakdown of fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There isn't any scholarship opportunity as I know of in my college. If there is a scholarship opportunity which my college provides, I might not be aware of that.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio is around 6:10. There are several student societies in our college. Both technical and non-technical. All societies organize events throughout the semester. Some organizes workshops for students whereas some organizes fun event or technical events or competitions. All types of people of different gender, races, religion, etc are members of those student societies. Every society is free from any kind of politics. College provides excellent extracurricular activities such as sports, robotics, hackathons, fun events, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college has excellent alumni network. Alumni meet is held in our college in which juniors and final year students can interact with their passout students. Junior-senior interaction in perfect in my college, through societies, through competitions, events. By interacting with our seniors we can gain practical knowledge of industry they are currently working in which can help us in our college placements.

Admission

I decided to do B.tech after 12th class as I have a keen interest in technology and science. During my admission procedure, I opted for only 3 top colleges under IP university, and got admission in BVCOE. My major area is electronics and communication. BVCOE provides a great platform for curricular as well as non-curricular activities. Steps for admission: 1. I cleared CET(2016) with a good score. 2. Then after result I applied for counselling and there were 3 stages for counselling and last stage was spot round. 3. At 3rd stage of counselling, I got ECE in BVCOE as my branch. 4. After freezing my allotted seat, I went to the college in person to take admission.

Faculty

4

Number of lectures depend on the subjects in each semester. In a week we have on an average 25-30 lectures. Faculty in our college is best in industry and have sufficient practical knowledge of their subjects. Average age of faculties is around 30-40. Most faculties are either have completed PhD or are pursuing PhD. Lectures provided by the faculty have sufficient industry knowledge, which also helps in placements.

Delhi Technological University - [DTU], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Reviewed on Oct 8, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

National Institute of Technology - [NIT], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
