Remarks

The locality is bit on the outskirts of Bangalore and the area becomes completely shut after 9. So be a bit careful about that.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The learning is very modern and research based. We are given case studies and field visits related to our industry. We have research papers to be submitted at the end of the course. Also a mandatory internship in the industry so that we can have a good insight in the industry before graduation.

Placement Experience

3

There is a seperate placement cell in the campus itself and they conduct various mock placement drives to prepare the students for the actual placements

College Events

3.5

We celebrate various fests and cultural events in the campus. Ranging from culture events to sports fests. The annual fest of the college is known as Gardenia which has various cultural and talent events for the students all across India. In the year 2018, SunBurn was at Gardenia.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is divided semester wise and there are multiple payment options ranging from Cash, NEFT,RTGS, DD to Online payments from Paytm and other E wallets. There is a time period given for the payment of the fees and additional fine is charged is the fees is not paid on time.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. I was given 15% scholarship based on my 12th percentage. There are numerous options for scholarships depending upon the course which you are pursuing.

Campus Life

4

The campus life was very diverse. The ratio was almost 50:50. There is gender equality and anti ragging committee with strict actions. It is very safe and interactive. There is a regular check of the hostels and the classrooms for any misconduct or misbehavior towards anyone.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes, I opted for hostel for the first 2 years and I was new in the city and the hostel was a safer and better place. It was a very good hostel with nice facilities and big spacious rooms with private bathrooms for everyone. Very silent atmosphere and play area and gym for the students.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is very strong, the university is in good contact with the Alumni and they also take part actively in the events related to them and contribute to the placements of the individuals as well.

Admission

I always had a clear goal about pursuing my career into Tourism, I got to know about this college through Google. I email the college and then once I liked all the offerings and criteria I went to the college and completed the admission process. The faculty and the senior students helped me throughout the process.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very student friendly and highly knowledgeable. They encourage us to pursue our likings and goals. The teaching method is also very dynamic. We get to know a lot about the current affairs in the industry in the college. The learning process is beyond books.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
