My college

I love my college.It was a good place to improve my knowledge in civil engineering field.Teachers are very helpful in acquiring this.

Civil engineering is a four year course and have 6 semesters.in each semester the university conduct exams and the marks are out of 100. In this course iam studying about everything thing related to civil engineering structures like their design,estimation etc. In our college for each module tests are there and internal exams are there out of 50 marks. We have industrial visits and interships in each year. In the last year placement classes are also there.

We had placement programme conducted by TCS company in the final year.A lots of companies like TCS,Infosis,Q burst,Pkj technologies and many had visited the campus for placement drives.They conduct aptitude tests and students who pass them will have to attend the interview.

The main technical cultural festival conducted in our college is Brahma. Each year we conduct it and it is a national techno-cultural fest.A lot of students from other colleges participate in our tech fest.Also we have another intra college fest called Ashwamedha.Apart from these each department has their own technical fest like Civiaura (civil department), Octane (Mechanical department) etc.

I got admission into the college by merit list.my fees was around 36000. This include PTA fund, quotion deposit, managemental fee,bus fee etc.If joining is by management quota the total fee may be higher.The college also provides many scholorships for students.

The college offer scholorships to students who score high marks (above 80%) in their exams. I have a scholorship of E grants.

Our college is mixed college.Almost equal boys and girls are there.We have National Service Scheme team in our college.The labs are well cleaned and the atmosphere is good for studying.We have a basketball court in our college and football team.In each year we conduct sports competitions.

I'm not a hostler. But I have used the hostel room.Three students can stay in a single room and there are enough facilities in the room.Bathroom facilities are also good.They have a common study hall also.

The best with our college is the helping mentality of senior students.They help us in all things.It is Because of them our college life was pretty good.They share their notes and help us in conducting departmental fests and all.

I got admission into this college by entrance exam score and got selected in the merit list.I joined to this college on 25th july 2016.I opt civil engineering course because I love to draw building plans.Now iam a final year civil engineering student.

There are almost 150 teachers in our college.Most of them are completed M-tech in their respective fields. We also have teachers who have doctorate in their fields.Average age is about 30-50.The teachers are well expertised and they provide good teaching and clarify the doubts of students.Some of the teachers have industry experiences.
