Remarks

Till now I have faced no problem with the university so far so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Depending upon what course you have chosen your course structure and curriculum varies. Giving you an example of my course which is mechatronics engineering. The mechatronics subject is a combination of various disciplinary. we get to learn about mechanical we also get to learn about electronics computer science and practical applications of different subjects. Of course, every branch differ accordingly and there are different applications in the future for different fields you get to do various experiments various practical applications and apart from studies there are these University e-government societies that allow you to participate and work under no pressure from anybody 2 gain much more practical knowledge other than just sitting in the classroom.

Placement Experience

4

The University has in campus placement and the majority of the students get placement on the zero-day or the first day of course based on their GPA. The University also provides information regarding the internship.

The university conducts the KIIT fest every year in the month of December where students get to participate in various technical nontechnical and cultural activities. People from around the country visit each year to cover this fest. Students from different universities around the country participate in the fest and compete in different universities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is structure is feasible not that expensive. Each semester you need to pay the fees. there is no such thing called the additional fee that is charged to be paid in order to secure admission to the college. The college accepts various modes of payment may it be in demand draft form or check you can also pay the fee through the online mode.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have opted for an education loan, of course, there is an option for scholarships but I have opted for an education loan that you can avail of very easily from the State Bank of India which is there in the university it is very easy to avail for education loan from the State Bank of India you can get up to 7. 5 lakh of rupees with no mortgage and with a minimum amount of interest rate for the document you can contact the university who will provide you with the documents that you can submit it to the State Bank of India which is present in the University campus as the bank ok is familiar with University you can avail loan very easily and with no to minimum hustle.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is very good the campus of the university is spread across 25 kilometers of radius which gives us the freedom to roam around freedom to move and explore different places regarding the extracurricular activities University provides various different opportunities for the student to individually or participate in the group the large are fully furnished and well equipped with the maximum amount of safety and precaution apart from academic the university conducts debates different functions and felicitation ceremony where you get to meet different people the university also conducts webinar seminar.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes I have opted for a hostel the hostel we get is is two sharing bases for three sharing bases there are also different categories in which you get to choose for non-air-conditioned rooms with 3 beds or non-air-conditioned room for two beds also you get to choose between an air-conditioned room with 3 beds and air-conditioned room with two beds there is also facility for you to opt for or a private or what we call an attach bathroom facility. The hostel rooms are charged in between 20000 rupees all the way up to 60000 rupees excluding food and few different other facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful with the juniors. The seniors are very interactive and are ready to help every junior.

Admission

I got into KIIT through their KIITEE. Every year KIIT conducts their entrance exam which is basically an online mode of examination which is conducted in different colleges or universities which are basically their examination centre. This exam is known as KIITEE which stands for the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology entrance examination. I gave the entrance exam in April when my class 12 examination was over. The results were declared thereafter and I was called for the entrance formalities which is conducted in the month of May.

Faculty

4.5

Not only the professor of our university but also each and every person is associated with the university are very helpful whether they are from accounts whether they are from teaching whether they are from the lab they care for their students. At any time or place the faculty is ready to clarify each and every doubt of an individual even they conduct monthly mentor meetings to clarify academic or nonacademic doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* I had chosen to do mechanical engineering because I had some bond with machines and it's designing and was also aware with the scopes of mechanical engineering. * In real world the curriculum helped me a lot and still it is helpful, currently I'm preparing for position of junior engineer and there it is quite helpful for me. * I don't think any improvement is required in the course curriculum and teaching methods as everything was good at its place and it's also the responsibility of us (students) to know our curriculum thoroughly and give our best. * Exams were conducted at an interval of 6 months and as said earlier exams conducted were moderate level not too difficult or easy and with studies it can be cleared easily

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Curriculum is like ok for an govt engineering college not like an iit/nit. There are many departments where equipments are very old & haven't changed for a long time. Exams are conducted very fast like mid sem is conducted in 1/1.5 months and end sem is in 2 months

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
