I choose this college because there is a better option for me at this rank. The college is good well-disciplined I got admitted to this college in August I think on the 5th of it. actually I got many another collage-like nit Kashmir , Nagaland, Sikkim but I preferred it

there is average campus placement you get campus eligibility in 3rd year an awesome placement for CSE AND MECH STUDENTS.approx,80% get placed. I opt to work for the private sector after college either go for UPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee is about 5 lakh including all the fees and your pocket money .you can get scholarships if you have a good rank in collage and many other scholarships are there.

Campus Life

The campus is full of greenery and you can easily get entertained by birds and habitat which have in this collage.library has tones of book .there are too many groups run by students like SSDC.

Placements are available on campus but they are average and not guaranteed for everyone. Some companies do visit, mainly for entry level roles, specially for CSE, MBA branches. However, most students cannot rely only on campus placements and need to work on their own skills. In term of employability the college provides basic academic knowledge, but practical skills depend mostly on self learning, projects.

Placement Experience:

For our batch we were eligible for campus placements from 3rd year i.e 6th semester. Companies like GoDaddy, FireCompass, Xziant, Microsoft, GoComet, etc gave offers for our domain. Highest package is 53lpa from Microsoft for our batch. Average package was 7lpa. Students who all got placed have percentage atleast 70-75. After getting degree I will continue with my job in which i got placed from here atleast for 2 years.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Sliet Journals : Must for bigginers

I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
