IHM Mumbai review

time management is very poor in our college, students have to wait for 2-3 hrs for classes as on timetable. Most of the students come only for attendance to classes as classes are not very attractive to student

Not upto the mark. Exam structure is fair and as expected The industrial training is useless. They don't let you learn hotel management but make you work like wage labour for 4 months. The college should look into that so it doesn't happen.

Almost 100% placements. If not hotels other institutions hire you. Egs. Of Hotels are Taj, Oberoi, Fern, Orchid, Four seasons.

Yearly Food Festival and all other religious celebrations are celebrated. Participation is quuite good. A lot of famous celebrities do come. Ganesh chaturthi, Onam, Diwali, Holi are celebrated with themes and active participation done by members.

Feasable. Aprrox 80K per year. Payments accepted by cash and Demand Drafts. No additional fees to be paid. All inclusive

I got selected on Merit. Not aware of any scholarships if accepted. Education blown can be availed from many banks

Gender ratio would be 70-30 male-female. Campus Life is boring but safe. Very few extra curricular activities in the college. Sports and competitions do happen occasionally. No politics or gender inequality observed

I am a localite, but hostel facilities are very good and premier, we have many towers/buildings which are categorised on basis of semester of student studying in, we have 3 bed sharing for boys and 2 bed sharing for girls, even girls hostel have a/c and a private washroom which are not in boys hostel. Girls hostel is built up in corner, therefore boys interruption is very low.

Depends on the students. Some are helpful some are not Have had no adverse effects on my experience

CET on Merit As had a keen interest in cooking. IHM Mumbai was to be known as the best Hotel Management College in India CET scores get you in. Also different quotas are there like SC,NT,OBC who get admission easily Not much hassle in recruitment

Approx 20 lecturers and average age would be 30. All are here after working in the industry for around 5 years. They do hold a lot of experience and help out with their skills. Subjects can be taught better and expertise can be better
